Hiking AGAIN! Found this cute make-shift teepee. I’m going to get addicted to day hikes. I probably already am. I bought hiking shoes yesterday and just had to break them in. I may be paying for it later today but so far my feet feel great…no complaints! Can’t wait to go on a long hike…even a full day, dawn-to-dusk would be awesome.

I want this in my backyard. When I was a kid, we had a teepee and it was magical. I think it was a pain in the butt for my dad to set up, but it was awesome. But a teepee around a suspended trampoline? Whoever thought that up is a genius.

Cats are liquids. “Liquids … take the shape of the container while maintaining a constant volume”. That’s it. So cats are liquid.

If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn’t help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we’ve got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don’t want to do it.

Hi! I’m Sampson! I’m 10 weeks and was adopted by Mariah a couple weeks ago. I have a TON of energy and I get into everything! I’m a big-time cuddler, though. You can’t really tell in this picture because I’m in the garbage can, but I’m a grey tabby. It’s nice to meet you, world!

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT DAY IN SEPTEMBER.
The Tribute in Lights is an art installation of 88 searchlights placed next to the site of the World Trade Center to create two vertical columns of light in remembrance of the September 11th attacks. It is produced annually by The Municipal Art Society of New York. It initially ran as a temporary installation from March 11 to April 14, 2002, and was launched again in 2003 to mark the second anniversary of the attack. As of 2010, it has been repeated every year on September 11. It had been announced that 2008 would be its final year, but the tribute was continued in 2009. On December 17, 2009, it was confirmed that the tribute would continue through to the tenth anniversary of the attacks in 2011.

Amazing installation.
